How do all, Right, I think I'm finished!
Here is the final look of the animation, the next job will be to do an incredibly rough sound design (sound effects with mouths, yay!!) so that the client knows what I'm thinking sound-wise.
But yeah, here is the final edit, fully animated, 3D backgrounds and a shatter effect from After Effects.
Hope you all like.
Cheers,
Oz

How do?
Well it's been a while. And I have been able to animate the most challenging shots... One where we see the moster flying, one where everyone jumps, and one where three people run. But thats all sorted now, and I think the rest will be fairly easy.
I have about 13 shots left to animate, most of them will be fairly simple, some of them should be reasonably difficult. I have three weeks to finish it all, and that fine. should give me enough time to finish everything, and make any ammendments needed, as long as the changes arent too drastic.
enjoy

How do.
I have a bit of the final animation for us today!
Im pretty sure I am doing this the long way... which is not a good thing, because it is taking me ages, but its interesting to try out a new style. The animation is, as I am sure you can realise, not exactly smooth. However, this is more of a stylistic thing than anything else. Unfortunatel;y I dont think the lip sync is up to scratch on this render from the Premier Pro... It looks better in the programme, so I may have to look into that a little bit.
Cheers,
Oz

Ok, I have a quick piece of rough preview animation. Its basically a pancil test so I know whats going to be happening when I come to properly animate it, so I can see what assets I am going to need to draw, what movements need animating and how I will be achieving that.
Its not finished yet, as Im sure you can see, but it should give you an idea of how the final piece should look.
cheers,
Oz

Hello!
Ok, so I've done the storyboard for this one in a bit of a backwards way... I have created the storyboard for a 2D animation in 3D. There is a reason for this! I am using a 3D background, and 2D characters, and just needed refference as to where the camera would have to be in order to shoot the action. And so I used a couple of downloadable rigs to rough out movement and composition. It's not animated, just put in poses, but there is a chance I may have to animate a couple of parts with the Hogan rig to use as reference for the 2D movements.
So here is the storyboard...

... and here is the animatic. Dont ask about the dialogue, I had to record myself for timing. The rest of the sound should be sorted by the client.
Cheers,
Oz
